Glass is flawless!!
VERY sharp and fast lens!! I've never experienced any focusing problems on this lens, and I've used it on a D200, D90 and D300s.

And yes this lens is dead on. I shot some photos of my 2 year old nephew sleeping at f/1.4, focusing on his eyelashes, and they were razor sharp in every photo!!
