Jay you make that 16 sing. What great composition and the B/w shot is classic! Really well done!
Raphael good flag pole! The previous series with the D200 shows what a great sensor is in that camera and the one reason I will never part with mine. I recall getting the D300 and D500 and neither was as satisfying as the D200.
More from the ballpark and the 35-200. All baseballs in flight with a crop.
Sometime a while back, I know I had shots in here with the 16mm fisheyes at the ballpark. MLB is definitely expensive.

Hey gang! I've been posting here for quite a few years and don't ever recall any pics taken at America's pastime, Baseball!!
So Robin and I headed off today to see the opening day of pre-season between the Detroit Tigers and the Philadelphia Phillies in Lakeland. Took the Z6 and the under-rated 35-200 which seems to have been the right choice. Camera set to Manual mode with the shutter at 1/1000 and set to F8 it caught most of the action from far away and many baseballs in flight.
Sad thing was 3 hotdogs and one soda $29.00. Thinking back to taking three kids it would have been a $100.00 day in food alone. Tickets and parking another $62....Show more →
The Canton waterfront in Baltimore, gentrified significantly since I was a programmer across the street, toiling away at lines of code and bugs Everything looks too perfect. Even the air is less polluted.

Thanks for the taste of spring! Looking forward to some games this summer. Local AAA baseball is really good and not as expensive as the Majors.
George I’m glad to bring a little springtime to help close out the winter. The Lakeland Flying Tigers are right here in town and we see several games over the summer. The way I see it is the kids playing in the minors play their hearts out every game. Where the ones who make it to the majors seem to lay back until playoff time comes around. Just my humble opinion.
The Stadium is built on an airfield where RAF Pilots were trained in WWII.

This month my local club theme is Doors and Windows. Also shooting black and white for the winter. So I combined the themes for this one.
Shot DNG + B&W JPG in camera. I took the DNG file through SEP, but honestly liked the black and white JPG file from the camera the best. So just resized in Lightroom and added the EXIF lens info with LensTagger.

I am no bird expert but am at the stage where I can tell the difference between a Robin and a Chicken.
I believe this is a Cooper's Hawk.

Very nice image, Rafael. Unfortunately I don't know American hawks at all - post in Nature and Wildlife and you'll get an answer in a flash.
