Smartphone vs. Z6 and LTM 13.5cm Nikkor. Who won?
Methinks photography won. Smartphone likely got the whole scene, and Z6 got her.
Had the warmest weekends around here while travelling. I have not ever experienced 44degC (111deg F) in my entire life, yet yesterday was 21degC. This will make Greta more angry. Climate change is real.
Another lesson I learned yesterday is how a hand injury can force one's photography down to lightweight cameras and cellphones only. I slipped, fell and landed on my left wrist. Have not been in so much pain in a long time. I didn't think bones were broken so went about proceeded to go out later with D700, except I couldn't lift it up to the eye much longer than a few seconds. I was in a mild panic at the prospect of it being a long-term injury and resolved to have it looked at today. X-rays are clear, it's just swollen and should heal over time. So, when I went out just now, the D5500+135mm was a much better proposition. All is well in my world.

Rafael, your documented Flickr description is a giveaway - Zacatecas?
Curiosoty forced me to read about it.
Last one is my favourite.

Saying I am not saying where I am is just a joke meant to incite your interest, the captions are a giveaway. I am traveling with family and they are photo un-friendly (taking time to take). Today is off to Leon, but with the, oh blasphemy, 24-120 f/4. A great travel, lens, will post some links.

..and it worked!
I like the diversity this thread brings.
Here is another one taken with the Sony & Nikkor 55/1.2 (ISO 51200...)
That's an old bookshop in Lyon specialized in antique books. The shopkeeper (on the pic) is an incredible fellow : I am pretty sure that he has carefully read all the French Literature from Franηois Rabelais to Andrι Gide

Ken, like your pair of fun with light pics.
Rafael, reading up on Zacatecas - very interesting, lots of architecture in that town.
Phong, wonderful floral scene!
I went thorugh Zacatecas quickly but will return with more time on the 26th.
Yesterday I was at an undisclosed location with only the 24-120mm f/4 gold ring a super sharp lens with some distortion. The cathedral there was recently completed after 100 years of construction and it is astounding! too bad I cannot show it to you, but here is the center panel of one of the 4 doors as a Christmas card - Merry Christmas!

Thanks for sharing NYC Christmas scenes Serge. I like the existing light shots, esp the first one.
Thanks, Ray and you're welcome.
Here is one of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree ex the snow. The star decoration is totally different from past years and very striking. I did a bit of digging and found that it is made of millions of Swarovski crystals and it is a thing of beauty.
