With it so wintery here, I though I would turn the clock back to fall for a few moments. These taken at the Asticou Gardens with the 55 f3.5 Ai. Thanks for looking.

Nice lights Scott. Good to see that people are out and about in the downtown areas.
Miracle on 34th St seems like a really neat idea, Samy. Thanks for sharing some from your perspective.
Serge, if I remember correctly, paying for a guided tour (some of them anyway) gets you a timed admission to the Vatican without waiting in line, if you ever want to not stand in line.
More from the lights the other evening. Top pic 24mm f2.8 AIS, bottom pic 35mm O.
Monocacy Aqueduct in Maryland. A ways from Baltimore area. The Monocacy river starts out somewhere around the Maryland-Pennsylvania border, about 40-50 miles to the north of this spot, and flows southwest to join the much larger Potomac river just beyond the aqueduct. The Maryland-Virginia border is not too far from here, to the west.
Z6 and 35 2.8 PC-Nikkor, pre-AI with scalloped focus ring. I like the fact that the FTZ adapter is compatible with so many non-AI lenses including this one (shhh don't tell Nikon .

Man... I lived in Leesburg for two years in the mid 90's and completely missed this Aqueduct. Guess I was too busy visiting the wineries on the weekends
Loving your shots with the old adapted lenses. Especially they LTM Nikkors
Hi George, thanks! Those LTMs I blame on you After coming back from the aqueduct I was looking at google maps to see what's across the river in Virginia, all I saw was wineries, no towns

Yesterday, for the first time I used my AI-S 300/2.8N IF-ED on a DSLR for motorsport. Last time I shot motorbike racing with this lens was back in 1989.
30 years later, this superb optics still rocks and I still enjoy using it for fast moving subjects on my full frame DSLR.
Here are some of my favourite shots from last Monday:
Another place in the north high up at the foot of the Himalyas, Rishikesh is reknowned as the home of Yoga and was the place where the Beatles studied TCM under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi at his ashram in 1968. The River Ganges flows through the town and up here is clean and cold.
The town is a place of religious pilgrimage.
This is how you get from one side of the river to the other. There are 2 bridges like this and everyone and everything uses them - scooters, people, bicycles, cows, all at once !!!

Ray, you are absolutely correct. We did a guided tour in April a couple of years back which included the Vatican museums. I believe our wait was around 30 minutes which would otherwise have been an easy two hours. We gave it a shot since it was low tourist season and it was not too bad.
Ronny, great photos!
Darn nice series, Andy and Sar.
Jay, great colors!
A couple of Trevi Fountain with the X-E1 + 28/2.8 AIs.
Took this one from the top of the stairs of a small chapel. Tight squeeze but this his is a s far back as the walls would allow.

Serge wonderful to be in Rome. Are you there for Christmas?
Ken we returned on December, 1. Spent Thanksgiving in Florence which was great with the fantastic Christmas decorations plus the lines to see anything were very short. Had to settle for roast chicken on turkey day but it was darn tasty.
Nice photo! That is a very interesting puff of cloud you captured.
Does anyone else view the site on their phone? Reason I ask is that for the last month the site no longer seems to be optimised for phone use, ie no scaling, have to zoom right in to see text etc. And its very annoying !

Ken, it's ironic that you should post a cloud photo prior to this one.... which also features a cloud panorama, captured with the 55mm f1.2 SC Auto.
