Thanks George. I was glad you made it too. I'll be managing at least one more year, so if you want, stop on by, then after the market, you can follow me to the farm for lunch.
This goes for anyone else that may be interested. This way, you can all take a turn with George's Leica and get hooked like I did.
Leighton my daughter is moving to the Blue Ridge so we値l be in the area in May (23-30th) 2020. I知 looking forward to visiting and doubly glad you値l be at the Market. Maybe a day with George, Samy too! It痴 six months to plan! Should be fun!
I tried my luck with some 16mm f/3.5 panoramas this summer. Several of them actually stitched, but only after applying the 16mm f/2.8 AF profile in camera raw (and removing most of the effect with the adjust sliders). I also used a lot of overlap.
5 frame stitch, looking north from Bishop Pass into Kings Canyon National Park. Dusy Basin to the right, Mount Agassiz to the left.
7 frame panorama, north of Bishop Pass looking north into the valley between Mount Goode (left with snow fields) and the Inconsolable Range (dark jaggy cliff on right). Bishop Lake is the closest of many lakes in this valley.

Andy, I'm not sure how to feel about that last India series but it definitely stirred some emotion.
A good thing surely Ray ? Was it the shot of the dogs ?
If so, I should point out that surprisingly (to me at least) the vast majority of the dogs we saw in India looked healthy, happy and well fed, giving the impression that they have no particular need for human companionship.
