Finally got a great morning to play for a few. 50mm Series E & 180mm ED trying to catch an 7’ gator in the Yacht Basin.
Ray, horizontal and great long shots. Morton, excellent light and still love your toning, Serge, Alcatraz a couple pages back was a nice shot as well. And to all the others I’ve missed recently!

No pics to post just yet, been (A) busy, and (2) shooting film when I can. I've sure been enjoying the pics I see here though.
Not MFNG-related except that it pertains to older cameras from before the invention of AF glass. I've been running a Wein mrb625 battery in my Nikkormat. That's a non-mercury zinc-air replacement for the original 625. I had read that it works well as a replacement for the original 625 but would expire faster. Mine finally died today after about five months. I consider that quite good.
I replaced it with an alkaline version with the same form factor because I had some available. I had to tweak the ISO up by about 1 1/5 stops to make it match the meter of the Z5ii and my phone. That's about half of what I had to tweak the F Photomic, but then the F uses two in series, So I'm figuring the Nikkormat is good to go for a while. I'll have to monitor the alkaline battery as it ages though. We'll see how the rest of this film roll turns out.
Okay, something different noticed during yesterday evening's walk around the neighborhood. We also saw a bat flying around overhead but I had no chance of getting a pic.
