Just got an AI-S 28/3.5 from the B&S board here and went out last night to test it.

All shot between f/5.6 and f/8 with ISO 25600 to 51200 on my Z6II + the 28/3.5 AI-S with all the in-camera corrections off and NR/VR off. It beats the Z 28/2.8 in every way.

I like the "grittiness" of these. And welcome to the thread.

Last set from that roll of film. Film pics just look different. But then, you knew that.

Nice. I love how captured the sailboat and how it balances out the frame with the high-rises on the righthand side. Well done.

Thanks, Leighton.

I also think the sailboat made the photograph. It was a nice setup.

Jim, that is a good looking car.

I had only seen the Tower from the airport before this visit. It was much darker then covered with centuries of patina. It surprised me how brilliant it is today. The first has quite a bit of haze/smoke from the nearby fire.

Between 1589-1592 Galileo conducted his famous gravity experiment dropping two spheres of different weights from the Tower.

The last photo taken, it was time to begin the trek to the train station.

Both of those are beautiful. Barbara
has been there and says the stairs were all dished out from so much foot traffic. Do they still let people in the tower?

Thanks, James.

They sure do and there was quite a line at the entrance

The Tower is totally safe today, great ingenuity and work by the engineers.

This lily has some color as opposed to the whole white one I shared the other day. 50-135mm f3.5 ais.

And for a reference shot below, this is all that's left of the plant which is around 5 to 6 feet tall after the deer have had a snack.
