All shot between f/5.6 and f/8 with ISO 25600 to 51200 on my Z6II + the 28/3.5 AI-S with all the in-camera corrections off and NR/VR off. It beats the Z 28/2.8 in every way.

I had only seen the Tower from the airport before this visit. It was much darker then covered with centuries of patina. It surprised me how brilliant it is today. The first has quite a bit of haze/smoke from the nearby fire.
Between 1589-1592 Galileo conducted his famous gravity experiment dropping two spheres of different weights from the Tower.
The last photo taken, it was time to begin the trek to the train station.

Both of those are beautiful. Barbara
has been there and says the stairs were all dished out from so much foot traffic. Do they still let people in the tower?

The Tower is totally safe today, great ingenuity and work by the engineers.
