Love that last shot of the tower Serge, leaning or not ! The sunstar and B&W were perfect choices.
I have the 16/3.5 but it is really tight to mount even with adapter on the Zf for some reason (it's pre-ai)
and i do mount it I cant change the aperture.
Andy
Thanks, Andy.
If possible, you should have the 16/3.5 checked out. It is a fantastic piece of glass that loves dramatic scenery.

Andy,
If you know all this already, sorry - this is "just in case". This sounds like what happens when the indexing tab is left in the ai, ais, and af position (down). Non-ai lenses control the aperture ring different from the others. Your adapter may have the same tab on the mount as the FM, F4 etc. You flip it up to mount a non-ai lenses. Some have a little release lock to allow it to swing out of the way. It can damage the camera mount if a non-ai lens is mounted without preparing the body first.. The tab should be on your adapter at approximately 2 o'clock See photo - tab in up position ready for NON ai lens

Nice to have you drop by Philippe, love to see more of Provence.
Thanks Leighton. I just retired, so I think I'll have more time for photography. I should take some photos of the markets in Provence with my Nikon lenses.

Thanks Jim, trying to mount it on the Zf or Fuji GFX which don't have the lever you mention. The Zf has a simple K&F adapter, the Fuji a photodiox GF to N adapter.
The lens mounts fine on the D850 and has the stepped aperture skirt, it's actually s/n 280xxx which is according to photosynthesis.co.nz a version K which in their reference photo does not have a stepped ring so I presume is has the factory conversion or has been converted.
Barb gave me a mini bouquet of Dill buds (most the flowers were not open) that literally looked like tiny yellow balls on needle thin sticks. The whole plant was only 12" high - which is about 20% of our usual 5 foot high plants? They started drooping almost immediately.
