Mathieu, I try not to peer through the glass on this lens - the scratches are that bad. Somehow the scratches don't affect the image quality though. The focal ring is a bit wobbly too, and of course the exterior looks like its had a rough life.

Always fun seeing how good bad glass can shoot. Nice shots.
Hmm I have not seen the position cursor change color, except when I had the AF lens on. Mathieu18 wrote:
I never minded magnification, and I like a good split prism, but it’s kind of a game changer for action and MF, at least for me. Can just position cursor and focus till it turns green. Don’t have to worry about composition, or taking your eye away to check the > o <. Much easier with moving targets.
Peter normally the guy doesn't have the blingy outfit on. That must be new to stand out among his competition on the waterfront, but now his trumpet doesn't match

A bit of brass cleaner on the cornet and the bling would be perfect! Definitely not a Navy brass band member off duty!

Samy - it won't change to green focus confirmation unless it is a CPU'd lens. AF lenses, factory chipped Ai-S (45P, 500P). I have had success with dandelion modified lenses.

Another quirk, I think. The 24-70 2.8AF refused to focus manually ( I just couldn't get any plane in focus), and i gave up and switched the camera to AF. I don't remember it doing that on the native F-mount DSLRs.
The manual focus ring on the 24-70 can be used for different things make sure its set to MF focus
You can change it in the FN button menu

Peter it all started with Curtis, and now Ken says the cure is available back in Marin county I have my doubts.
Samy, I think I recall a quote from C.S. Lewis saying “Spells are used for breaking enchantments as well as for inducing them.” So Its my thought that the Wizard in Marin holds the only cure.

Nice set Leighton, I bet it was hot there too. How quick did the lamb chops go? I remember customers asking you about them the other week.
They were waiting on us. We sold a freezer full of lamb! At this rate, we won't have enough to last until our next processing date.
