After the wedding we went for two weeks to Sarawak, the Southern province of Malaysian Borneo.
Our first stop was a few days at the coast in a tree-house. It was quite luxurious with hot shower and airco.
It was about 10 meters from the sea, but we could only hear it.
We had the most beautiful sunsets.
I already posted the pano, but then it was a not so successful HDR, this one is just a single image. I found out it's better to process a -1/-2 stop image than to make an HDR.
The fourth one is the view from the restaurant.

Drove a couple hours south yesterday to
Coconut Grove a little upscale town where the people there are mostly liberals who think
they should be in California
Hadn't been there since 1970's
Stopped at a National Historic Site called "Vizcaya Gardens"
It was our 23rd wedding anniversary so we wanted to do something different
If it says 24mm lens it is really a 28/2. I forgot to change the non cpu menu
Reagan
I did like Leighton told me and shot in monochrome with raw and my focus peaking is still about 50% hit rate
My 24, 28 and 105 lens are on the chopping block now
Keeping the 45/2.8 as my main MF lens

Have you decided not to put them on the "chipping block" and straight to the chopping block?
I've set mine up so that the front button toggles the 200% zoom on and off to check critical focus

I use the af-on button for 100% zoom
Realistically I have about 75% hit rate
but I don't like having to focus peak I really like the 45/2.8 for the way it works
and my Af lenses work without issue
Headed on a 4 day cruise with 24 hour stop in Havana on 6/17
and don't want to worry about having to deal with the peaking
Turn peaking off, use 200% zoom and focus by eye ?

Ponte Vecchio: The original bridge dates to the 10th century and rebuilt in 1345. The original shops were occupied with butchers, fish markets and tanners until 1593 when it was decreed that only goldsmiths and jewelers be allowed. The top section is part of the Medici corridor.
It was the only bridge the German army did not destroy during WWII.
The 18K gold shops are a huge magnet for visitors specially the ladies. Over the head photo from the highest point of the bridge.
Fuji X-E1 and 28/2.8 AIs
Thanks to all for the likes.
