Different kind of landscape
On a 4x4 up into the mountains of St Kitts
with 2 stops for Rum tasting
Last one has the oldest church on the Island dating back a couple of centuries
I forget how old

I don't think Curtis will stay around log enough for that.
Maybe... maybe not...
If you keep dropping market photos on the thread I might show up... always loved them. And yesterday I was thinking about you... as I drove down a street I've traveled dozens of times... never noticing what some guy did to the door of his garage and front entrance. I had to stop the car and take a photo. I told the young woman who graciously moved the garbage can that stood in the way that I have a friend who likes unusual doors... I guess that would be you!
I probably should have mounted the 28 f/2.8 AI-s that you put to good use yesterday but I mounted the 55 f/1.2 S.C. AI... then realized I didn't get as wide a shot as I wanted. I hadn't planned on creating a panorama but I thought I'd see if Photoshop could handle two photos taken from pretty close to the same location... it did. It even took TWO photos of that dog in very different stances and selected the one that I thought worked best. So for you my friend.
Luka great cityscape … Light off setting dark! Perfect!!
George I'm with you, Leighton no city in Virginia served Chai 10 years ago!
Reagan simply beautiful. If you dump the Z6 you're nuts!
Curtis …. uhm Curtis who
The Blue angels and the D810. The Df is in the hopper and looks like nice stuff … looking at one that needs to be processed but looks like all 4 tail numbers are visible AND IN FOCUS. Today I'll try thr Z with the 105 mm. The 300 was way to long yesterday.

A Chana Masala Roti Paratha... since you ask... Its an Indian take of what we might call a burrito with a lovely garbanzo bean curry wrapped in a sort of tortilla. It isn't purely vegan since it is made with eggs, but it is too good to pass up. With it I'll have a bottle of Clausthaler non-alcoholic beer. You and George inspired me... I've been essentially alcohol free for over a year with no complaints. I've actually become quite fond of Clausthaler, both the "Original" and the "Dry Hopped."
I read about your evolving relationship with farming. It makes sense to wind down your rather demanding life a bit. I'm sure they'll want you managing the farmers' market even if you're not a producer. Life seems to take us in surprising directions at times. Our old friend Rinie has been contending with lung cancer... a surprising turn since she doesn't smoke. She's been off work for many months and doesn't know when she'll be able to return. Knock on wood, I remain in pretty decent shape physically. It helps to have dropped about 25 pounds I no longer need to carry up and down the hills of Marin...
The guy whose last name appears on the Nikon forum page next to the name of this thread...
I'm simply demonstrating a fact I've mentioned many times, that this thread really belongs to everyone who participates. Clearly, you guys and gals are doing just fine without me. I did my heavy lifting for this thread during the first two or three years when we were building some momentum. Now it's old timers like you Ken, who keep the ship moving in the right direction. You've built a first rate kit and keep trying out new cameras... just what the doctor ordered.
Am enjoying the photos you've dropped on the thread today. Great work.
