Goerge, How do you store your camera equipment/lenses. Do you use dry cabinet. Thanks.

Inside the house I keep them in a storage cabinet (nothing fancy) since the house is relative low humidity. I have looked at dry cabinets from time to time, but never have bought one. Perhaps if I lived somewhere with year round high humidity I would get one.
For day trips, I use either backpacks or hard cases (Pelican and SKB case with ThinkTank inserts). During the summer months trips or on extended trips when I know there will be high humidity I do throw in a reusable silica gel canister (the kind you can recharge in the oven) just as a precaution. Have been doing this for years and have never had any fungus issues (knock on wood )

So my Z 6 does not show aperture reading of MF lenses even after inputting non CPU lens data. I thought thru FTZ it replicates the functionality of F mount Nikons? Or I am doing something wrong. I tried these 2: 50mm F1.2 AI and Series e 100mm.
Gave up on the 200/4 after getting the 180ED, the 180 is the best for subjects snapping into focus even without focus peaking or evf zoom.
As I mentioned I have been using the XT1 all the while I've been in India, seeing if I could live with mirrorless. Anyway, had to use my D800 that I brought as a back up body cos the fuji batteries were flat.
The D800 body felt HUGE After the fuji, and no Focus assist, no peaking. Both will be sold on my return to help fund a Z6.
Just got to Agra, sitting on our hotel roof top cafe eating lunch looking at the Taj Mahal. Will post some more pics from the trip later.

Took a little trip to beautiful Scottsdale, AZ to help my brother celebrate his Birthday. Must say that it is a heck a lot more relaxing over there than my neck of the woods. The weather was fantastic and was great that we avoided another one of those balmy Polar Vortex.
A couple of Hotel Valley Ho (ca 1956) which is a modern Art Deco beauty. I think George Jetsons would have approved of the bar.
Happy Friday. Thread has really slowed down so let me post one to keep it going
I went up to southern Virginia on Wednesday night to visit family and when I came out to return home the sky relatively clear and no moon. I had the Z6 and some old rangefinder adapted lenses with me so set up for a quick shot.
Not too bad using an old Nikkor rangefinder lens from the early 1950's. Nikkor 10.5cm f2.5 in Leica Thread Mount. Adapted to the Z6 using a LTM-M ring and Novaflex M to Z adapter. Single shot, ISO6400, 3 seconds and I think f/4. It was literally a grab and go shot.
Next time will take my guided mount and better lens. That will guarantee cloud cover

Having fun with the Df & K3 prism. I was luke warm at first but it's growing on me. Took a trip to the local camera shop, playing around with the 105/1.8 and the Voigtlander 58/1.4.
Incidentally, just bought a Nikkor 5.8cm f/1.4 but can't find much info/thoughts on it, other than there seems to be a preference vs the slightly later 50mm f/1.4 non-ai. Any info in this group?
