These are marble theatrical masks that once decorated the Theatre.
All shots with Z7 + FTZ + Nikkor-NC 35mm f/1.4F ai'd; ISO 200, supposedly at f/5.6 or /8. General view 47% cropped (21/45MP), each mask ~ 9% cropped (4/45MP).

I get about a 50% rate on keepers with my MF on the Z6
Need to get better in the next 8 days

Have you programed a front function button to give you 100% view to to allow critical focus?
Pick you subject > hit your function button to zoom in 100% in the EVF for critical focus > hit the button again to go back to full view > release the shutter... Will be much higher than 50% keeper rate guaranteed.
working all day so no time to really play with the Df, my only non ai lens is the 55mm F/1.2 so decided to grab one of my favorite stouts and make a photo...
hopefully heading out tomorrow so I might have some more to share...

Possibly a sensible thing to do-as the Z has opened up so many new possibilities of using vintage glass, it has seriously fired up my GAS...
(Of course this is true for any mirrorless body, so if you're using Fuji or Sony you're down that road already... )

With our rate of exchange, all I can do about GAS is eat beans!

Feeling the cold here in Jaisalmer, only 20 degrees Celsius whatever that is in F.
Going on a camel safari tomorrow, staying overnight in the desert where it will definitely be a bit chilly.
Congrats on the Z Reagan, try and keep it until you learn how to focus it
Here's a couple of pics from Fort Kochi of the famous Chinese fishing nets. They use an A-Frame and rock counterweights to raise and lower the net into the water. Hard work for little return these days it seems although the egrets still seem keen and swarm to each net as it begins to lift out of the water.

Continuing recent discussion here. My Sony mirrorless indeed has put new life in MF Nikon lenses. One thing that I noticed with 50 1.4 and and possibly 20 3.5 is that the "infinity" focus is actually before it hits the infinity marker. I never noticed that on Nikon DSLR with focus confirmation but on Sony it is apparent. It feels a little strange how latest tech has actually made things more "compatible" with age old hardware

That's not your Sony's superior tech but your adapter's inferior tech, it is too short! Better that than too long.

It is probably liberal specifications on the adapter to ensure infinity focus. A pet peeve of mine
Typically not an issue unless you want to zone focus by using the distance markers on the lens or are used to throwing the lens to the hard stops and shooting for infinity.
See my post about it on the first page of the now pared down thread.
Z7 (at DX crop mode) + FTZ + Nikkor-NC 35mm f/1.4F ai'd; ISO 320, f/5.6 at 1/250s; right - heavy crop ~5% (2.4/45MP). The pixel density of the Z7 allows some crazy crops like this one.
