Hi Buddy, yeah I like it a lot! It´s definitely a keeper
You got a lot to go through then. 1800 shots is a lot. I took 500 during the roadtrip I´ve been to - still have a few to work through though.
Lookin forward to see some more of those 1800

Kristian, it's cool to see you still like the 80-200 f4 Ai-S as much.
I hardly found the time to pick up my camera these past few weeks. And when I did I made 1800 photos, which I'm still sorting through right now
Feels like ages since I last used my camera. Stuff keeps coming up that prevents me from attending events. so this Sunday I took the car for a spin, enjoying the crisp light after the humid air was pushed out by a cold front. And the subject was the fun car again (the one that lives in the garage on jack stands most of the year)
New exhaust installed - ultimately I was more interested in that than a 20mm f/1.8 AF Nikkor The old 20mm f/3.5 AIS will go on another summer hike in August

It's been a while, and I haven't caught up on the thread. Got some news though.
Shot these 3 about three weeks ago while all the cats were still feral. 300mm f2.8 ais. The "momma cat" abandoned the two kittens since then, just like she did Hamish last July. The kittens (3 months old) began following me around the yard for our nightly rounds.
Shot inside with the 85mm f1.4 after the two kittens followed me around the yard to check out the vegetable garden. Then they marched straight into my bedroom like they always lived there, and now they do. We named them Ruby (the tortious shell), and Oscar. Yet to introduce them to the other cats, but they play footsie under the door each night.

Yeah, I chuckled. A friend of mine has a Nash Metropolitan and every time I look at it with him I ask him "What scale is that?"
Two good friends drive first generation Scion xB’s.... They have stickers on them that say “Toaster Mafia” on them. Big club out in my area. Some of them actually look like toasters, bread and all.
I'm not surprised since the names I see on this page have been around for awhile. Nice to see folks are still turning the focusing ring...
A private message from Leighton prompted me to finally pull the SD card out of my Df so I could upload the FEW photos I've taken of late. Photography has definitely been a low priority for quite some time. But I did visit the Italian Street Painting Festival on June 24 and was motivated to mount a 55 f/1.2 S.C. and actually used it. As you look at these photos consider the first full day of this event, which involves men and women sitting on asphalt pavement ALL DAY LONG, leaning over and applying chalk, that the day before we visited the temperatures in San Rafael were north of ONE HUNDRED DEGREES!!!
On Sunday the temperature was only in the eighties but still the organizers were delivering bottled water to the artists. So here are a few photos... I'm going to hog the thread for a short while to share the wealth of that visit... if I remember how to do it...
This event is intended as a fundraiser for children's arts programs throughout the community. Needless to say, they wanted to give kids an opportunity to get dirty... which the DID!

A few images from the "Groninger Museum" in Groningen (capital of the province Groningen). Yes, the same name for a province, town and museum.
The design of the Groninger Museum looks like an elongated island. It consists of three large volumes in the water and is connected by corridors and two squares.
The museum building is considered one of the highlights of postmodernism.
BTW I don't know why it says 135mm. I probably dialled the wrong Non-CPU number in on the Df.
