It's been awhile since I've been in this thread due to all of my manual lenses I had were lost to Hurricane Harvey. I plan on posting more as I found a deal noone would pass on a Noct 58 AIS. I have been thinking about adding a wide, no wider than 20mm. I'd like to get a lens which will have similar characteristics but not break the bank, suggestions?

Sorry about your kit, and probably much of the rest of your household goods... The 24/2.8 is a great lens that can be had for relatively cheap.
Very sorry to hear what you went through. The 24 2.8 AIS is a great performer as Kevin said. There's earlier pre-AI versions too that are excellent. Not sure though that any lens around that angle will have similar characteristics to the Noct though. Congrats on getting that unique lens, and hope to see samples from it here. I know at least Ken Hill from Florida has that one.
