Oh boy, My adapter came today. Nikon AI to Olympus Pen-FT - Suddenly I have a raft of lenses I can use. Here is what a few look like on the Pen-FT
You got it right! We are in Malakoff, so a drive to Trinidad for some DQ is a frequent summer jaunt

Glad you have your 105/2.5 back! In 15 years of this thread, this might be the first time someone has posted an image of a relatively obscure location close to me in Central Texas that I know exactly where it is (safety rest area next to Cedar Creek between Trinidad and Malakoff TX).
Appreciate that Rafael!

Love the tractor picture Scott, Thanks for posting it here. No manbabies in this thread!
Results of Nikkors adapted to the Pen FT, and the next adaptions of Schneider-Kreuznach lenses made for the Kodak Retina Reflex SLR series of cameras from the same 1960s period of the Pen FT. Scale-wise they are a better match, but I don't have the image quality results yet. Shooting a suspected defective roll of Arista 100 seemed fitting to test this batch of lenses.

Lovely image Leighton.
Did you use a lens hood or hand to stop any flaring/ghosting?
In IR mine flares like crazy when pointed towards the sun.
Thank you Colin. Yes, I always use a lens hood on the 28 and most of my other lenses as well. My most badly performing lens when it comes to flare is the 85mm f1.8 HC.
Speaking of 28mm f2.8 AIS and flare, here's a shot direct into the sun. Some artifacts, contrast loss, and overall color shift that I did not try to correct for.
