Early Morning on the Cape Fear. More long exposures is my goal for 2025.
A lovely image, Matt.
Also one of my goals and it seems the 28 3.5 PC is the way to go and it fits my Lee filter holder perfectly - I will probably extend my presence here into the new photographic year
Sticking with the North Carolina/28 3.5 PC theme. Camera was Zf. Normaly I use Nik filters only for the Silver Efex Pro, this time I played with the HDR thing.

The Birth of Venus, Sandro Botticelli, ca 1484-1486. It is protected by plexiglass which is not so friendly to color saturation and contrast. There are incredible artworks in the Uffizi by Leonardo, Michelangelo, Rafael and others but this masterpiece is my fave and perhaps the most popular at the gallery. The photograph was framed a bit high to avoid heads and flying phones, this room gets crowded.
I left some of the veiling flare in this one - I liked it. There are two windows flanking a bay window behind her. Two led lamps behind me (for a terrible under powered main), a TV to her right, and led tower, table lamp, and a three pane door to her left. I am amazed at the white balance with such mixed sources. With all the light sources it was very dark and hard for me to focus. Again the 24mm f2.8 ais

Thank you Serge! The birth of Venus has always been a fav. Is that scratch on her left hand on the glass or the painting?
