A couple Df shots with the 35mm f/2. I am a total mirrorless user but the clunk of the mirror is undeniably enjoyable, and I love the simplicity of menus and config for a CAMERA, not a multifunction camera/video device.

Nice, moody shots!
Interesting (to me) that all but the first shot seem to show quite significant vignetting. Were these all shot wide-open? I don't have experience with the 35/2, but this looks like the kind of vignetting that my 24/2 always showed wide-open.

Welcome RustyRus and Ralf. This is the most friendly corner of this place. Everyone is on first name basis. Hope your wallets are ready .
It's looking like (new) Df week and I'm here for it.
Thank you Siphiwe!
My wallet is closed - I have already too much cameras and lenses... ;-)

Nice set, I especially like how the fourth shot of the table looks with the 55mm f1.2 (which some here will say is the "official" lens of the thread).
Thank you Ray! Yes, the 1,2-lenses are "special". Either you like it, or you don't... :-)
I like it most of the time, but I'm stll learning when to use this "effect".
Today is a Bavarian holiday, so I visited one of my favourite castles near my home. It is called "Willibalds-Burg" and dates back to around 1370. For a castle it is a younger one...
It was renovated since 2020 and now re-opened a few weeks ago. Not everything is already in place, I'm still waiting for the opening of the new restaurant.
Thanks, I had a 52mm cool on there. I’ve seen it vignettes before with other smaller wides, I think that’s the source of it, still learning how the lens and camera work together.

Thanks for sharing Ralf. I love exploring places like you're showing along with a nice narrative.

I like this one better than the other 2 you shared. Nicely done!
Thanks Leighton, the setting sun did provide some great color. I have a couple others that I'm still trying to settle on the balance between light and shadow before I post them.

I know what you mean about clunk of the mirror. I too sometimes miss that and the optical viewfinder of a DSLR.

XTrans 1 on the XE1 is quite nice. I posted over in the Fuji sub a shot I took with mine and the Fuji 27/2.8. 3200 ISO is usable with a monochrome conversion. Well seen!
Thanks, Kevin.
I have always enjoyed the X-E1. The photos were taken at ISO 6400 and the little camera did a decent job.
The Fuji 27/2.8 is a super sharp lens but the motor could be quieter. It is a tiny package that come handy at times.
After the earlier sunset shot of the fisherman, I scrambled quickly to shoot at river level. Here's a couple I like with the 35mm f2.0 O lens. Feel free to comment on the balance of shadow vs the highlight in the sky. Played around a lot and could not really make up my mind.
