Here is the 31.25X result from the setup above. One needs better alignment for the lens to be useful. Stacking SW may help, 31.25x is too much for a watch.

What always fascinated me was how well my friend was able to take photos with this setup on film. I remember he had a DIY reflector for his flash that made a nice even light around whatever his target was.

I bought this lens only because it was new and $60 Kevin, but it is well beyond my ability to use!

20 year old Tri-X, exposed just days ago, and souped in Df96 Monobath. Nikon FM version #2 with Nikkor-H.C 50mm f2.0 on my studio light table (testing synch cord, and wireless trigger) I was going to title this "If I Could Catch Time In A Bottle", but I think in a literal sense I did. Simple, Nikon NX Studio. Vivid setting add contrast and vignetting. Sharp setting on sw about 20%. Under exposed a little.

My cancer has returned and I'm undergoing procedures to eradicate a couple of small tumors on my liver. Once we're through with all of this I'll be back with my usual "blabbermouth" ways!

Aw Leighton, this is not what I had in mind. I'm sorry to hear this but wish you a full recovery and eradication of these.
