Great photos over the last couple pages, and I have been hitting the like button.
Couple days ago Barb made another Ligurian Focaccia with Tomato & Onion. It was amazing, and I never get over how different Samin Nosrat's recipe - with the pouring brine and oil over the dough before baking - looks so wrong but tastes so right. The dark bubbles are my favorite bit. D800 24mm f2.8 ais + TC-16A

Very much enjoying Glen's car photos, so different from my own and very creative,
Finally received a rafcamera order of 52mm to Nikon Z adapter, these coupled with a K3 and K4 Nikon rings, which are a F to 52mm and 52mm extensions was all it took for the Nikon Rayfact 90mm 4 to reach infinity.
And what a lens it is! super sharp, squeezes every pixel out of the Z7.
here is the rig, funny how the knurling in the 40 year old exension ring matches that of the much newer lens.

Opposite end of the spectrum from Rafael’s collection… wanted to help out a guy that runs the local lab and has had a rough year. He was trying to get rid of stuff and needed cash. A bit of fungus and no beauty queens, but they all work and glass doesn’t effect IQ. The 55/1.2 I’ve been looking for and the 105/1.8 he almost insisted I take, plus a miraculous 80-200 f/4.5 that doesn’t have zoom creep! I have about 10 other misc lenses including some decent Minoltas, etc. so I’ll have enough to pay with for a bit.
All nice lenses despite the looks, the old 200 F4Q gets one some excellent results. I am presuming that's just its extending hood leaning over, not part of the barrel.
Leighton,
She made it on the third, and has this rule/law that any hot bread can not be cut until it cools. She usually mutters something or other about that being the law in France, Once it cooled it was lawfully attacked by all. I do have some two day old leftovers where I can show the crumb - along with a German chocolate cake my mom use to make for my dad. The name German is for the family that came up with the recipe, and not the nation. Plus my dad hated the carmel/coconut frosting - so this was my mom's twist on it. I haven't had any yet, but Barb nailed the look and smells I have from 30+ years ago. Photos to follow.
