These are inspiring me to dig out a couple of pictures from Strasbourg that I looked at but didn't post yet. Very nice Serge!
I guess the castle is besieged by tourists in the Scottish summers now
Thanks, Samy.
I read the castle receives approximately 1.7 million visitors per year which is enormous given the smallish size of the interior. I can only imagine how crowded it would be during high tourist season, it would not be fun.
Do post your photos of Strasbourg, that would be terrific.
I started stitching in 1994 when Photoshop version 3 added the layers pallet. Fortunately, I had bumped into Kai Krause on a CompuServe bulletin board earlier, and he was explaining alpha channels in a series of tips to a handful of us that had created dialup up connections to the BBS. This was prior to Netscape and Spry Mosiac. There was no WWW at the time. A very slow process then, but learned a lot about transforms and transparency.

How about those that use something to stitch their photos?

Thanks to all you world travelers letting me see castles, cities/towns/villages, churches, planes in various states of repair, birds, dams, and flowers. (Sure I missed some) Here some from my neck of the woods. Getting back into infrared this morning - 5D and the Nikkor 20mm f2.8 ais
Hi everybody, this is my first post here at FM. I found this forum long ago, but just recently, I have seen this topic about Manual Focus Nikon Glass. In 2017 I started my collection of Nikon manual lenses, which I love, and have been using more than all my expensive autofocus lenses. I spent hours looking at the pics here, and I loved it.
Recently I bought a 45mm P (silver one) in pristine condition (box, everything). I am just an amateur (far from a good photographer), but taking pictures is my passion and therapy. I have been using Nikon since 2002 and primes since I got my D200. I created a Flickr account to upload my pics here (not sure if this will work).
Below is a pic from the new Data Science building at Boston University (taken with my 45mm P and D850). https://www.flickr.com/photos/63943447@N08/52952381212/in/dateposted-public/

Welcome Regina?
If you want your Flickr image to be posted inline (rather than just a URL) then from Flickr select the 'share' (curved arrow, lower right in the window) and then select BBCODE. From there decide what image size you want and then copy that new URL and paste it into your FM message.
The images you are posting are super nice but that last one comes out a bit small on my computer screen.
I post from Flickr and tend to use 1600 pixels on the long edge.

Welcome! You discovered just the spot to showcase your manual Nikkor pics. Very interesting architecture for the Data Science building in Boston!!
As others have said, welcome Regina! The 45mm P is one of my favorite lenses. Looking forward to your pictures!
