Ray,
These were formative experiences for me. My mom was a librarian, and a member of the teachers union. One of the benefits were great deals on organized group trips - two of which I tagged along with my parents paying my own freight with money earned mowing lawns in my neighborhood. I wasn't quite 14 yo when we went to London. My mom loved the prearranged tours, and I did not like them. So, I basically was left many times to explorer by myself. I believe just visiting Malaga/Torremolinos, and London changed me for the better.

James, I enjoy how you just nonchalantly mention sitting in the Coronation Chair and getting up close and personal with the Rosetta Stone. What other experiences lie in that head and heart?
Another couple of images showing the surrounding area where I live.
50/2 HC again.
One of the public footpaths that allows us to traverse the well manicured Faccombe Estate.

Excellent infrared series Colin. I especially like the landscape scenes much more than the people scenes. I enjoy the rotation between your photography tools. Let the IR season roll on and looking forward to when you are back on the Z6.

Curiosity is killing the cat... what are the white signs? From the backside, looks like traffic signs on a walking path?
Correct, it's the beginning/end of a forest trail. I'm just trying to remember what's on the signs. Mmmm, I may need to get back to you on that. I'm new here having just moved in temporarily while we have some building work in our house.
Taking a few days off from work and actually getting out to shoot some
Loaded up the medium format kit and hit the trails to revisit a waterfall I shot late last year. Wanted to see what it looked like with leaves and actually green. I threw in a Nikon camera and lens to shoot a few behind the scenes shots and grabbed this one at the falls.
Just purchased a nice 300 F2.8 AIS lens off Craigslist last weekend. Heres some Phoenix zoo pictures today, 5/11/2023.
The TC-16A was used on all but one image.

Thanks Colin. The combination of that lens and speed booster and in camera 1x1 crop gives me the approx equivalent FOV of 6x6 film. My search is complete

George,
Lovely image but, dare I say it, I prefer the colors, tighter crop and the slower shutter speed used on your medium format rig.
Supposedly the lens that you have mounted influences what you look for. Since I had the 200 micro on, this is what I gravitated to. Nothing to talk up, but perhaps will give this place some momentum headed into the weekend.
