Thanks z Leighton, love these mornings but sometimes they’re better in person than in photos. This one captured it well, and it’s not your eyes playing tricks if you think you see the earlier boat in this shot.

Matt, I love the simplicity of this image. Well seen.
Went to a local botanical/art garden Wednesday on my scooter. The roughly 5 acre parking lot was full, and four
large school buses were at the entrance. I had anticipated the crowds, but not that large - see, there was a butterfly exhibit. The stranding room only tropical hot house steamed up my lenses in mere seconds. Children were weaving around adults, and many adults with cameras were madly shooting butterflies in motion while they to were in motion. My tools of choice D7200 Nikkor 200mm f4 ais micro with the TC-16A provided a leisurely working distance.
Brought my IR camera (5D with Nikkor 55mm f3.5 ai'd micro) for the art.
Davinci's Horse
My three grandsons were there - this is Phineas laying under one of the horses uplifted hoof.
My son Duncan with 8 month old Hayes
Lots of laughing, and many more photos to go through.
That 55/1.2 keeps looking real good, like it’s calling my name. In the mean time, AI’d 24/2.8. Needs stopped down good for landscapes but nice up close performance in the center anyway.
Nobody warned you about the hazards of this thread? Give in, resistance is futile.
