Continuing the 50-135 weekend? My favourite grass but background is not. First time using this lens on Z. I wanted the DX reach, the option of in-camera crop (1:1 here) and the more precise manual focus. I do hate that I have to remember what aperture I shot at, which is why Df will always have a place in my bag.

I'd have loved to have had the foreground flowers more in focus. The blinkies said they were. Liars .16:9 in-camera frame.

Good fortune was on my side. It is the is the only time I have spotted a cruise ship on a Staten Island Ferry outing.
These boats are massive. They dock on the Hudson and it would take Rafael's widest fisheye on FX to capture any sort of scale.
Variety is a good thing.
Nice work with the 50-135. I received one a while back but was not close to the advertised condition and was returned.

Thank you. I note you gave the travelling camera(X-E1) a rest. Nice colours here. Is that a helicopter on the top right corner? So much to see on that first one.
Shame on the 50-135 not being in the advertised condition. Hopefully you in time another one may show up.
I found a previously 'lost' download of the Nik Collection and was quite pleased. I used to enjoy cooking up some receipes on SEP2 with the various simulations on offer. Then my machine died with them. Starting afresh. This one's a bit crunchy but I like it. A variation on Film Noir 1, which I forgot to save. Oh well.

Last of the ice storm images. The temperature finally was above freezing yesterday so the ice all came down. Taken with the 55 f3.5 Ai'd. Thanks for looking.

I so enjoy this thread. From beautiful Spain to an air museum on the other side of the planet - I get to tag along and see so many things like flowers to loved pets. Thank all of you for sharing!

I recently watched the 1978 film "Eyes of Laura Mars" and your photograph reminded me of the film's poster artwork. Faye Dunaway plays the role of a fashion photographer and uses a Nikon FM.
