Has anyone heard from Jay Miss the colorful photographs of interesting architecture.
George, great looking bike and terrific capture.
Ani, awesome looking pup.
Walking around Toledo:
The city is a darn good workout, walking several miles daily up and down the hills and stairways.

Toledo is famous for its Demascene craftsmanship, an art form that originated in Syria and dates back around 1500 years. The design is etched in steel and 24K gold is hammered into the drawing The shops have have become more upscale over time as have the prices.

Leighton,
Here is a sight I hope has fond memories for you and Barbara. I always enjoyed your market photos, and the behind the scenes peak. I re-imaged these from a trip to a local Farmers Market. There are way too many to share. My standard MO is to ask permission first. If granted, I shoot then purchase at least one item from the vendor. My poor Barbara had to carry a lot of vegetables that day. The way I look at it - the farmers are also food stylist. They make my job like shooting fish in a barrel. It is just too easy to come away with a bunch of great shots, and I am extremely fast at it. All these were with the 85mm f1.4 ais
Jim, loved the veggie shots, reminded me of the couple of leisurely and memorable trips down into Virginia to visit a market there. I like the terminology - food stylist!
Leighton, I wish you all the best with your health. My mother used to have a fridge magnet that said that "aging is not for cowards," and I've been gradually learning the truth of that message (I just turned 65 last Saturday). I hope your recent health issue will have no further impact on your enjoyment of life in retirement.
I've been kept busy lately developing and refreshing my guitar collection and my playing of them, while regularly checking in here and making appropriately liberal use of the Like button. I'm still in the process of adding bits of visual style to some of the guitars, so I won't yet post photos of them. But unsurprisingly, I'm sure, I do have some IR photos left over from last fall. The first of the ones posted below is the only one in which I have ever done selective colour manipulation (for comparison, the colour variation in the second image represents how different features in the photo responded to exactly the same colour adjustments). It brings to mind a folk song from the 1960's called "Big Rock Candy Mountain." The first, second and fourth of these were taken with the 2.8 f/3.5 H, and the third was shot with the 5.8 f/1.4 S.
Serge, I also enjoy your pictures, a lot. Please keep them coming. You really do great work with the X-E1. Jay was chasing comets in the FX image thread earlier this week.
Leighton, sorry to hear about your trials but glad it’s on the up and up.
Ani, feels like you’re being stalked by a black wolf, very cool.
Serge I like the street shots with the tighter lens.
Great work from everyone else as well.
Raphael, thanks for the tip on the tubes, didn’t even think about the M2 tube I have, this was the 75-150 Series E which gets pretty close. Gonna try the 50-135 next week since it has such great close up rendering.
Toledo sure looks like an interesting place.
I was checking out the hotel Philippe mentioned and have started background research into a potential Madrid/Toledo trip.
Are you a travel agent by any chance?
