Leighton, I wish you all the best with your health. My mother used to have a fridge magnet that said that "aging is not for cowards," and I've been gradually learning the truth of that message (I just turned 65 last Saturday). I hope your recent health issue will no further impact on your enjoyment of life in retirement.
I've been kept busy lately developing and refreshing my guitar collection and my playing of them, while regularly checking in here and making appropriately liberal use of the Like button. I'm still in the process of adding bits of visual style to some of the guitars, so I won't yet post photos of them. But unsurprisingly, I'm sure, I do have some IR photos left over from last fall. The first of the ones posted below is the only one in which I have ever done selective colour manipulation (for comparison, the colour variation in the second image represents how different features in the photo responded to exactly the same colour adjustments). It brings to mind a folk song from the 1960's called "Big Rock Candy Mountain." The first, second and fourth of these were taken with the 2.8 f/3.5 H, and the third was shot with the 5.8 f/1.4 S.
