After a two week ordeal with DHL, the 10mm OP arrived. The lens is a winner, perfect glass and excellent overall.
Quick test shots in the backyard show great performance! circle is 20mm, smaller than any other Nikkor Fisheye. Need a Z7II for these lenses.
Super sharp and does well with the sun. It benefits from the Z adapter helicoid as the center and edges have slightly different focus. The lens has a very well defined edge with no blue tint.
Olympus OM-D E-M1 MarkII + adapter + Nikkor-Q 13,5cm f/3.5F (nine blades version), aperture study. 60% cropped (12/20MP).
Top: wide open (f/3.5), already excellent sharpness.
Middle: f/5.6, best sharpness and still good bokeh.
Bottom: f/22, diffraction effect on sharpness.
Happy because this baby is staying in the MFNG family!
Thanks Chuong for contributing with my NMFAS.
Now is Rafael's turn to sell for me his paper weight / horrible lens: 15/5.6
Olympus OM-D E-M1 MarkII + adapter + Nikkor-Q 13,5cm f/3.5F (nine blades version), ISO 160, f/4 at 1/800s; 24% cropped (4.8/20MP). It looks like those bees like those flowers.
Your circular fisheye shots set you apart, Rafael. I'm glad your new lens is up to your exacting standard, and proving satisfactory.
I've been on a steep learning curve with infrared photo processing. As a result, I've been diving into Photoshop like I never have before, and I've been learning more about ways to use the Nik collection as well. However, because the process has been so rapid (like most new learning) the shots I'll be posting today and in the immediate future will represent an earlier phase of my learning. I am still looking forward to the free tutorial that is included with the camera conversion, so I suppose everything I will be posting for a while will represent new stages on a continuing growth curve. The trio below is brought to you by the 50 f/1.2 Ai-s and the 24 f/2.8 N (x2).

Rafael,
Congrats on the amazing 10mm OP - the edges are indeed very crisp circle. When you show that mount end of the lens - I must confess that I can't quite imagine what you are stacking on that end to attach it to your camera? The results are very impressive.

Raphael I have a little story about that 85 mm 1.4 lens that started at the Kiwi Camera swap meet in Orlando. I was there with Ray and Reagan and a seller shows up, pops his trunk and offered a huge amount of lenses for sale. Some MF but for the most part AF Nikon glass. I saw the 85 and picked it up. I had no interest but thought Ray and Reagan might.
Now Reagan’s recall may be different but in my world Ray was the first to say he wanted it. I handed it to him and he bought it immediately.
Glad the lens made him happy. From there we went to Disney and took photos. Ray was the king of Disney and provided this thread many great shots, all with great lighting and composition.
RIP Ray.

Did not meet Ray as others did, but he was always very kind to my simple photography in this Forum. I always wanted that 85mm 1.4 he is holding, just because it was his, a good Karma lens.

The one lens I want to sell is the 80-200mm 2.8 ED ais, never liked it for purely mental reasons, but you got one already!

Simpler than it seems James. The 8mm, 7.5mm and 10mm mirror up fisheyes do not protrude into the camera all that much. They can be mounted on almost any Nikon DSLR by setting the camera to live view, which gets the mirror up and out of the way, use the lens and then remove it before turning the camera off live view. Same applies to the Voigtlander 15mm SL F mount. Do NOT try this with the F mount 2.1cm, it will ruin your camera.
I have to admit this makes me nervous so I avoid the DLSRs for these lenses and just mount them on the Z camera with any F to Z adapter. I choose to use a F to Z adapter with a helicoid as it allows fine tuning of the focusing. These lenses are supposed to be fixed focus but you can improve the image with a little fine focusing using the adapter. On a DSLR it will be fixed focus, no other choice.
