The Kelpies near Falkirk, Scotland.
We hadn't planned on visting the Helix Park but glad we did.
Although situated next to a freeway and close to Grangemouth oil refinery the sculptures are magnificent. A beautiful sunny morning lent itself to IR. All pics were taken with the 50/2 H at f/8.

Most impressive structures, Colin. Just how tall do they stand? Really interesting works.
Impressive and outstanding shots Colin. IR definitely works there and was a good call!

There have been a whole lot of captivating images posted here this weekend, and it has been very nice to see some fellow returnees appearing on the thread. Ken B., I hope your Covid symptoms soon run their course and leave you feeling younger than a septuagenarian again.
Here are a few shots of what one well-known photographer (whose name escapes me) called the "intimate landscape." These are from the trail leading to Ammonite Falls, or from the pool at their base, and were shot with either the 24 f/2 Ai-s (first image) or the 50 f/1.2 Ai-s (all the rest).
Why, oh why, did I ever leave Scotland - a place where landscape photo opportunities abound.
Ah, I remember - it is colder, it rains a lot and the winters don't have many daylight hours (plus my wife refuses to move there)

Thanks for the likes and comments about the Kelpie images.
Scotland is all about the scenery so here are some panos using the 105/2.5 PC
If I was hill walking then I'd want the weather to look like this bland view from a tourist boat on Loch Katrine.

Slowly getting out of summer and back into making time for photos again. Just a little still life practice to get the creativity flowing again. I also am trying to create a set of presets in DXO filmpack that I really like and this image represents the latest preset...
Scott, very nice atmosphere on the docks, love the compositions and symmetry. Did you go and rearrange the docked boats?
Glen, between you and Scott (and perhaps a couple of others) this past week posting with the 24mm f2.0 and 28mm f2.0, makes me think and pokes at my GAS. I've been considering swapping to the larger aperture Nikon MF lenses. Probably just talking out loud and nothing will happen, but you guys don't help any.
Colin, visiting London has been a long time goal of ours, but we've always said we want more than just a city vacation wherever we go; we tend to like to mix up. Your Scotland pics has me dreaming again, city time in London then transition to Scotland (I know it's a ways) for a decidedly less urban setting.
I've been trying my hand at flowers, and trying to get settings as opposed to just portraits (have portraits too, but focus stacking with AF is a breeze vs MF :-) ). Here are some attempts, 50mm f1.4 AI.

Loving the mood of the first one and it achieves what you set out to do - showing the flowers in context.
London plus the Scottish highlands would be a killer combo (don't forget Edinburgh though).
