I really like this Jay.
The bridge is mostly obscured by trees yet the bridge remains (to me) the point of interest.
Very clever composition to leave a small unobstructed portion of the bridge.
Rolled the dice on the Nikon USA refurnished sale the other week. There was a separate thread about it. Initially thought the price advertised was a mistake, but placed an order. Directly with Nikon. XQD version for $1995. They are $4999 now
4 days later it shows up. As new with a new shutter. I test shot 3 images and checked the shutter count. 3. Mirror box, viewfinder spotless and body perfect. Plus Nikon refurb warranty.
I was building out a rugged kit for my son to use in his field work and you can't get much more rugged than a D5.

How were they even able to hit a ball with someone with a camera within a mile of them? Sarcasm off
A friend of mine worked the Masters and was telling me the rules. Even with a ban on mobile devices.
Great shots Ray.
Fortunately it was (1) just the Pro-Am day and (2) I was working a hospitality house off the course, just with an adjoining backyard and (3) the Nikon Z's are remarkably quiet (I may get dirty looks if I would have used a D700 or D800). I did try some sequence shots of drives, but I think I may need a Z9 to "capture the moment" as the closest I got to capturing the moment of connection was the fourth shot where you can actually see the ball at shoulder height just after impact. The Z9 would be quiet as well.
For this Pro-Am day the signs on course actually said (1) no autographs and (2) cell phone photography was allowed, so see, they can be reasonable :-)
Yeah. And Reagan always get the first post of the new page

When we sent Nikki around the world, we would sometimes have 4 or 5 pages a day go by on the thread. It was really hard to keep up at times.
