Ani, I love Trilium - one of my favorite spring flowers. Once found a huge explosion of them in a large crater shaped valley on the Leelanau peninsula in Michigan. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Colin and others ... I am usually here or about, but using the like button occasionally
I must apologise profusely ..... not for my words
But for the lack of the addition of a photo or two
I have on occasion used an AF lens ..... oh the shame of it !! Of course a Nikon one
But trawling back a few months to my last sojourn north to the land of Colins fathers
I found a couple of pix from the Glenfinnan Station just round the corner from the viaduct which featured in Harry Potter films
The have built a massive car park there and it is packed .... oh the horror visited upon places made popular by film
The platform at the station is well kept and not too busy.
You may notice that the closer look at the platform furniture includes an old style luggage trolley upon which is a broom stick .... I just can't imagine why !!
Nikon lens 25-50mm f4 sourced from one of our wonderful members. You know who you are .....
Of course it was mounted on a Nikon body .... The D810 in their instance
What is the name of this thread again? Oh yeah "Manual Focus Nikon Glass", not Nikon Cameras. If you guys think some kind of penitence is due on my part - I suppose I could freeze little hockey pucks of Barbara's next satay, and hope they arrive at your door fresh and ready to eat.

Oh how I wish our trail would have more of them. I am going back with the Nikon F 50mm f1.4 combo this weekend, it is still loaded with some black and white film.

This bird was nesting right by the side of the road that loops around the Bombay Hook Reserve. I stopped near it, but didn't want to disturb it so just stuck out the front of the 500 through the open window. Very calm duck (swan?) with all the storm clouds swirling around in the world.

If we were to take a poll, how many of us are sharing images with a camera other than a Nikon. I'm not trying to start anything, just interested.
Rejection of non-Nikon bodies on this thread posed a real existential threat to it. In fact, by the time rules were tweaked some prolific posters had been shut out and left already.
Naughty George of Manual Focus Nikon Plastic lit a fire, and offered one picture for penance and ran away. He's lucky Curtis is on sabbatical .
This page is in need of more pictures. Excuse me while I look for them .
