Another Brisbane skyline shot, same place but after sunset.
I went with B&W again cos they have changed the lights on the bridge from white to garish green/purple/blue alternating with red/yellow/nothing every 20 seconds. Yeugh !
A 60 second exposure gave me bonus light trail from passing River Cat ferry

Here is the solution to that, Take a 5 second exposure for the bridge light, then 20 second exposure when there are no colours in the bridge.
Take your 3rd exposure of 60 seconds for the water and everything else. Merge them manually in Photoshop. Ensure the colored bridge with underexposed everything as the final layer on top on probably Screen mode so it just shines the color or even better use luminosity mode.
I am sure you would be able to get a shot there.

Lighthouse at Woods Hole/Falmouth, Mass, at night. It was nippy with the winds and 50°F temps so I grabbed one of my hooded sweatshirts from the car.
Having very little greenery to photograph at home, I found a couple of pics from our 2013 trip. These from Gloucester Docks on a typical English summer day.
The first shows old warehouses now apartments and the gorgeous Mariners' Chapel and the second a really "used looking" narrowboat/barge.

Its been raining on and off. Realized it would be a nice bright sunset if at the right time and place. Choose Lake Lanier for the setting with this long exposure shot. Browns Bridge Road over Lake Lanier by Ramkumar Sangameshwar, on Flickr
Thanks Ram,I think you misunderstood my description though. The lights are always on, it's just that in one of the two sequences, 1 set of the 3 colours are not working. But I will certainly try and remember your pp advice as I'm sure to need it in another similar shot.
