All I do is process photos for light and color, do not want 'creative' images.
Most of the difference is my own learning as I can get similar results in NXD now, (Better color and light in NXD simply because I am familiar with it, but I could match these two images for all practical purposes)
but light room is a lotttt faster!, its noise reduction is better too.
The way Momma Cat greeted Georgie was similar to the welcome the Beatles got from adolescent girls and young women. She would talk in long coos, and Georgie would croak an occasional "MEH". This is the same corner in my yard, but I am closer this time.
More 300mm f2.8 ais wide open with 100% detail of Momma Cat when she was a feral
missed the focus a bit
200mm f2.0 ai wide open - in her new bedroom - use to be my bedroom

(I've just realised I posted the last pic on here yesterday....there are no pics in between......what's happening? Where is everyone? Have we abandoned ship and no-one told me?)
I've had 4 surgeries since May all because of a kidney stone, so I've been off and on quite a bit. Had one yesterday matter of fact.

I have been a refugee today over on Dean's old thread on the Alt forums. Taking a walk on the alt side
The exposure was pretty much guess work. Some online posts suggested going down 4-5 stops to account for the filter. I messed up and left the aperture at f/8 even though I calculated for f/16, so this was about 7 stops down. Fortunately one of the two sheets came out reasonable.
Other mess up was I forgot to wash the sheets first in water. So the negative has some streaks and spots.

Wow that sounds like a challenge to do. But looks good. Is the vignette from the filter or lens or the monobath?
George, i dont think I have ever taken a wide open picture with an LF lens before I am figuring the image circle is smaller wide open, and the front standard was raised well up.
