Love the barn photos Jay.

You are all tired from my looking at the 300mm ED 4.5s and the D810 .........etc....etc...

Had been testing at 4.5, and the K lens is truly remarkable in its lack of aberrations and as sharp as anything else.

Then closed the K lens down for the first time and BOOM!

So good it is incredible. Look at the sunlit edges on roof items and leaves, staying so clean! f/8. 100% on Flickr.

Focused on the fence/playhouse. Can almost read the label on the electric meter.

Focused on Hummingbird feeder. Can almost read the label on the swing cushion label.

Actually, at 200% you can see a hummingbird. This lens could serve a 100Mp camera, and this was handheld.

Nikkor Fisheye 16/3.5

Should anyone be interested, a very nice early serial non Ai recently popped up on "fleabay". First time to see one with the original box.

Have zero experience with this dealer but seems quite reputable.

Would post a link but not sure if the rules allow.

Ken - I can't imagine what she's looking at. Palazzo Farnese is right behind her, so she's not looking at that, and there's nothing up in the direction she's looking except sky. She was looking up there for a long time, after all, this is manual focus and I am a very slow focuser.

That is my neighbor's house Ken, mine is barely better that a shack (but I love it)
Really been enjoying your lighthouse photos. Specially the one with the Fresnel lens.

Thanks, Ken. I am hoping to capture some fall colors this weekend but there is a strong storm arriving in a couple of hours that hopefully does not blow off too many leaves.

Great colors in your photos. Gotta love those old lighthouses.

A few more from the air show in IR. I had to mod a B+W filter to become a 39mm drop in filter that now fits Nikon's telephoto lenses.

Color shots with a Z7 and a 600mm f5.6 (695nm+)
B&W shots with a D750 and a 300mm f2.8 (830nm+)
