George, nice Pano shots and the rig looks so awesome!
Ben, love the light play and emotion of the man, agree he looks sad.
Steve, nice dog pics, such interesting colors for the mix!
Thanks for the likes everyone! Slowly easing back into the fun!

Posting one last one with from the weekend.
This one also in XPAN format, but shot with in camera crop vs stitching.
Leighton - showing two behind the shot photos to give a "picture" of the movement options. You will see about a 2 - 3 degree downward tilt of the lens to shift focus. Just like on a PC lens, but many more options for movement.
This one using the Nikkor SW 65mm vs the 90mm in the others.
Thanks,
George
First of all, I love the image. And secondly, I love that rig. It would make you slow down and find just the right image.
That's one of things that I like about shooting with manual focusing lenses.

George,
Nice setup and images!
There are so many ways to participate in this pastime.
I have been seduced by a lightweight, Z-lens, AF, temptress of late.

I've seen that across some of the other threads, Colin, looks promising. My copy is in Fedex jail at the moment, can't wait till it is freed.
Mine was canceled automatically without asking if I wanted longer back order. Maybe a good thing
OK, so the 300mm 4.5 ED K came in.
I got Lucky!!! Lens is nearly perfect, very minor hood scratch, perfect glass, not a spec of dust, smooth focusing, good iris. Unfilled warranty card with the correct serial number, box with original packing.
Here are some test samples, boring but if you go see them at 100% on flickr they prove lens is good.
Tested on the Z6 as the ai kit has not come in from Finland yet, it was due today on DHL, no rush.
All at 4.5, this lens needs no iris.
Nice. I am looking forward to see your evaluation of this lens.
It looks very clean. Congrats!

George - love the Autumn Soy Fields shot, beautiful composition. I admire you for wanting to lug all that around.
Rafael - congratulations, another superb addition to the family. I love how you got the eagle to say cheese for you, you've got to teach me that trick.
Thank you for the comments everyone, yes, I know the old man pic is a downer. It was a beautiful autumn day and he was sitting on the edge of a fountain in a beautiful park (Villa Borghese) yet he looked as if the world was about to end. And I know my dark treatment doesn't help.

Sweet set up George. Those look like quite precise movements, compared to the Tachihara 4X5, or the Gibellini 8X10. The Linhof is a step up from those two though.
And bonus is you don't get to make working solutions of HC-110 and stop bath each time and put ice cubes in the water bath to get the temp down to 20C

Congrats on the 300 K Rafael, very sharp in the distance at 4.5!
That eagle looks like it has something to say to you face to face
