Folks - what Rafael failed to mention when posting his roof repair images is that he is also reinforcing the house foundations to cater for his lens collection. Actually that lot should be stored in a strong room.
That is the problem with exposing one's weaknesses, it brings notoriety. But others are listing this many and actually better collections already, so I am not alone here.
Foundations are fine, California houses are on concrete slabs, but the roof was getting old, had to redo to keep the lenses dry.

Wow, both of you guys are killing me,
my humble collection has only 63 MF Nikkors, but I give up: to be done I just need a 15/5.6 QDC and a sharp copy of the 500/4P EDIF (I had 2 copies, but unluckily both were less sharp wide open or even at f/5.6 than my 600/5.6 wide open too).

This one is rare? Had no idea. Has been in a cabinet for several years. I got it out to do some testing for use as a 600mm equivalent on the Z fc this past week.
Is this the same one?
George
ps. The 85mm/1.4 AiS covers the GFX sensor very well. No crop or vignette correction applied.
"Speaking of the Devil", by coincidence this morning I was with this 400/5.6K ED non-IF at hand for taking more "breeding time" shots over here, this time father and the son/daughter (a little old to be still in the nest ) waiting for food:
Still getting used to IS and Focus on the Z7, so I am not back up to speed yet with shooting. I will venture out a little more after work if the weather holds up when I go to Physical Therapy.
Regarding the CA, it might be more of a processing artifact and having used Luminar. unprocessed image for inspection.

I beg to differ, the quality of your collection far exceeds mine, your just waiting to find the right copies of those lenses! Cheers my friend, all is good in collecting Nikkors!
Mark, good to see you hobnobbing on this thread again!! Hope you have been well.

OK. all this conversation had me add $80 to my initial offer and that was enough to get this. Hope is good as the seller takes no returns. But he states enough I can hold his feet to the fire in E-Bay if need be.
I should sue you all for encouraging addiction. That way I can raise enough money for the nocturnal and the 300mm 2.0.!!!!!!!
I might have one but you have to promise not to sue me.
Edit: Confirmed that I have…a few Yes, I wanted to own as many of those ED nonIF as I can afford at one point.

Thanks Chuong. Will wait out my Finnish order. If it gets lost maybe you will sell me one!
I would never sue you. Maybe steal your lenses but never sue you.
