Appreciate it and can relate. It might be heresy (I think I can get away with it on this Nikon thread only) but I tried a Z7 a couple times and generally did NOT like the sensor. Much prefer the Z6's output despite "lesser" specs. I remember not being overly enamored with BSI sensors when switching to them as well, they felt thinner IMO but they're everywhere now.
Hope you're enjoying the X-S10!
That's interesting about you liking the Z6 over the Z7 sensor.
First outing with the X-S10. So far it's taking some getting used too. I have also switched back to LR from Capture 1. The first thing I noticed about LR vs C1 is that LR's highlight recovery is better than C1. Notice the sky in the second image...C1 would have never recovered that much in the first try.
I'll try not to talk about Fuji cameras too much seeing as this is on the Nikon forum.

Ben, I like the variety in this set of pics, and glad to see you didn't wither from all those interfering photons
Samy - I didn't wither, but it made my skin crawl. I really admire you lugging that camera around. Don't know how you do it.
Leighton - but I was hoping to hear all about the XS-10.
Philippe - love those street candids, especially the second one. That's an amazing catch on the 55, and just the right moment as he's about to put his fingers on the cigarette and reach for the glass.
Serge - I thought the black and white was perfect for that pic. It was a strong composition. Yes, Roma is getting back to normal. The tourists are flooding in.

Piazza di Spagna with the nikkor 10.5mm f2.5 LTM/Canon R5
So relieved! Completed the roof, completed the deck - no more work on the house for at least two months, does need paint and landscaping, some outdoor furniture and a nice dog house.
Should move to an apartment, this could have been about 6 Nocturnals, which I prefer over a deck.
From this place, Cabrillo national monument is where I command San Diego bay mouth for ship photos, the lens is the baymaster 50-300mm 4.5 ED, a heavy and underrated outstanding lens. I have two. They give them away in EBAY for $500 like new. Back in the 80s they were $1500 - $3,800 in todays money.
Cabrillo is the Spaniard that discovered California for us descendants of Europeans, he did not conquer anything as he promptly sailed to San Clemente Island, broke a leg and died. The day they take his statue down I move to Texas or Florida.
Burning a couple days vacation this week and went for a walk in the woods today. Posting a couple shots with the GFX 50S and Nikkor-H·C 75mm f/2.8 for Bronica lens.

These look excellent! Really nicely done. The second one just screams "fall in NC" to me.
Rafael - beautiful photos. I think the haze adds atmosphere (excuse the pun). It doesn't block the view, I can see a plane coming in to land in the second pic. Well done.
George - love the pics, but I wish they were bigger to get a better idea of how the GFX 50S works (not that I don't appreciate the white border and shading effect, which I do). Love to hear your thoughts about it. Here, it's cheaper than my Canon, so it's an attractive proposition.

Hi Ben - let me get a few thoughts together on the 50S tomorrow. Will shoot you a PM. Getting ready to call it a night here.
To Laura and all whom have commented on my photos, i really appreciate it. If i do not r eply, please understand i do appreciate your interest and comments. My next birthday i will be 89 and move a bit slow and have not much interest sitting at a computer typing etc. Too many things still to do and photograph.

Lovely early Autumn from NC. What is the slight purple tinge in the first one?
