This is Nantucket Sound, with the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard across the water. In fact that tiny light at the horizon in the last pic, just right of center is (I believe) Cape Poge lighthouse at the northern tip of Chappaquiddick.

For a second I thought we had a new member. Samy, you've been on the esoteric tip for so long I've forgotten your colour/35mm signature. These are so fresh and so clean.
This morning, I revisited the park where I saw Osprey, Red Tail Hawks, and Cormorants yesterday. My longest MF Nikkor is 200mm, so no pictures here. An enjoyable time through the scope though. There were some woodland sunflowers, so something to share here.
Z7 + FTZ + Medical-Nikkor 200mm f/5.6 + 2x close up lens + tripod; ISO 720 to 16000. Each image 67% cropped (30/45MP).
This macro tele has an unusual behaviour: surprisingly at f/16-22 it did not suffer diffraction like other "normal" lenses. For a closer examination it is better to use the link at flickr and click 2 x at the image.
But it was so much fun! I encouraged you quite a few years ago on that.... resistance was futile.

Thanks Ray. That is good to know. I went out again because the mail man delivered my "new" FT-1. I expected it tomorrow. Now this is all Laura's fault for encouraging me to find one. I had no choice but to mount some MFNG and go out. It feels just like a smaller version of the FT-Z.
More from the Yeovil based Fleet Air Arm Museum.
A hall that is mostly dedicated to delta wing aircraft with the main exhibit being Concorde 002 - a test plane which first flew in 1969.

Nice shots of late Samy.
How many lenses did you take with you?
I have been trying to limit myself to only a couple thus having to work with what I have in the much lighter bag.
No exotic scenery or locations for me. Soybeans and clouds about sums up my Friday evening in southern Va.
Wanted to see how well the PC-Nikkor 28mm f/3.5 covered the Fuji GFX50S sensor. I wanted to try something wider and this lens gives me roughly 22mm equivalent. I think it will work for what I want and save me $1500 or so for native glass
Have a good weekend folks.
Shot at f/5.6. Testing various focus points and apertures. I posted this one to move the thread along tonight. It could have been sharper on a tripod, but was a quick test. Working from my iPad so limited to basic post processing and will look at them more tomorrow night when I am back home with my computer.

The pilot, Lt Kistruck, ejected safely.
