Shot a bit more with the F3HP, this one is a personal favorite because of the subject.
The unsharp diagonal „something” is a mooring-line. I'vs shot the bow with and without the line and prefer this image.
Lens was (probably) the 85/2 Ais, lovely little lens.
But the 85/1.8H, the 105/2.5K and the 105/1.8 AIs are strong competitors.
My DSLR-scanning-workflow works really well on some negatives and not so great on others.
In this case I'm fairly happy with the „scan”.

It's a special day, John showed up with the 16mm. That is an exceptional lens, no matter the subject matter. I hope one day Nikon makes something worthy of switching back so we can see more of your work again.
Felix, I like that adapter. I have a soft spot for Fuji from using their point and shoots prior to their transition to the X's. Then they had the most natural colours. Also used their cheap film in the brief period when that I shot film(2002-2004). I'd use Agfa for punchy colours and Fujifilm for people. I had no idea it was a whole subject matter on its own. I just noticed that Agfa was more vivid and Fuji made people look like people. Andy, Leighton and serge are great ambassadors of the Fuji experience. It's possible I may own a Fuji in my future if I don't talk myself out of it. Too many Nikons in my bag.
Christopher, thank you very much for the kind words. The visuals are depressing. It isn't something I thought would ever happen but here we are. It does look like we may be turning the corner. I'm hoping for a very very long straight after it.
Great shots, James. I love the variety of flowers presented.

Coming back to SA from the UK in 1972 on the P&O "Orcades", I met an Englishman who was going back to Oz to complete his round Australia trip on a Vespa scooter! He had gone 1/2 way "round" from Perth to Sydney, left his scooter there and took a trip to England to visit relatives before returning. But we all know what the "eccentric" Poms are like

Birding with a 16mm Jay, I don't think even Jose has managed that ! What sort of bird are they ?
Andy
These are Steller's Jays, rather audacious creatures that announce there presence with a loud raspy call, or a sudden sapphire flash as they zoom by in the forest.
Felix I'm not big on equipment shots but really like your second image.
Here are some photos of the Wood taken with the D800 and 24mm PC-E.
I've shot this former grain-elevator many times, now with the F3 and a short telephoto-lens. I'm not sure what model it was - probably the 85/2 Ais or 85/1.8 H.
Since the F3 arrived only MF-Nikkors were used with it so I think I'm fine posting this image ;-)
Film was Fomapan 200 again.
Same config, except for ISO 1600 and 72,5% cropped (14.5/20MP).
The best EVF I have experienced in my life; images are clear and the focus peaking leaves us almost with no excuse to miss MF!
The Achilles' heel of the M4/3 sensor is high ISO, but for birding in clear days, I think I would like this camera with MF Nikkor teles.
Jose,
I agree with Georg - Sharp is the first impression I had. Can you shoot birds in the 50 megapixel mode?
Is the five axis stabilization done at the sensor or is there something like a gyro in the body? Impressed!
Jim

Thanks George and Jim,
In fact I am lost in the almost infinite layers of menus in this camera.
Need to find how to shoot the 50 MP; but I suppose it is just in jpge mode.
My friend is almost selling the camera to me (hope a good price, need to bargain a little bit ), since he lately is taking images just with smartphones...
Jose, I think you will love the 2x built in crop factor with m43 for birding. As for noise, I've seen some really great results with software like Topaz. Hope you get it and continue to post these great sharp pictures in good light.
Same evening light as the previous posted picture, just aimed in a slightly different direction. Did not have a wide angle MF Nikkor with me, so did not get a full width of the wonderful cloud show except with AF. 50-135.
