Tired of messing around applying filters and post process for a certain look? Pop a Nikkor-O Auto 35mm f/2 non-Ai on a medium format sensor, embrace the vignette and shoot in camera Classic Neg profile.
Only brought in to Lightroom for resizing to post size. Shot at f/2

Are those spider webs decorations or signs of the business in these times?
I say that half joking.
No joke George, we were two out of five total customers in a restaurant where you would wait in line for an hour or more before Covid. I hope they are getting enough take home business. Been having their margaritas for 20 years and they are truly the best.
To soothe the covid weary soul nothing like a new old lens. Can never duplicate what George assembled for Rangefinder Nikkors, but I did want a second 8.5cm, perhaps in better cosmetic condition that the one I am using.
This one I am using and has perfect glass, the Chrome had miriad superficial scratches, which I restored decently with a 45 Caliber bronze brush. It is brushed chrome.
I bought this one below as a very early copy, it was mint but frozen focus and aperture and the seller would not come down enough in price for me to have it fixed.
I was spending time after work today testing to see which Nikkor lenses I had that would provide full coverage on the GFX and for grins I decided to put the Reflex 1000mm f/11 on it. Yep, image circle covers the sensor. Not sure of (or wasn't sure of) a practical use but hey, it works and it is not like Fuji has a 1000mm native lens
Anyway, I noticed the moon shining through the trees. I rarely am able to get a clear shot of the moon from my yard, but because the leaves are falling I have a few "holes" that I am able to shoot through. So I put the TC-14b on the Reflex 1000mm and went out on the deck to see what I could do.
On its way to being full on Halloween night. Here is my attempt. 1400mm f/15ish equivalent. Final image cropped of course. No way getting full frame shot on that camera. Pretty sure I could get sharper if I wasn't on the wooden deck. Maybe I will give it another try Saturday night when it is full and shoot from the ground.
You just fired up my GAS. Anyone have a spare OC 35/2 lying around? Great shot!

Over the last year, I have found myself reaching more and more often for this old zoom. After 25years on the shelf its been good to bring it out and let it get a little vitamin D
