You can do either Phong. If you want to be precise about getting architectural elements correctly lined up and/or retaining maximum sharpness use a tripod, otherwise both the 35 and 28 PC Nikkors I have used handheld all over.
Thread has lowered pace now right? I might as well share a couple more woody shots.
Btw, where is Leighton, Curtis, Scott, Reagan and the rest of the players?

Thank you Saph!
I'll make a bargain with seller a bit. I just saw same copy here sold at $185 around.
I may take it ~$220 fairly.
Hey party people, long time no show. I've been liking pictures though.
Lovely light on Harrier, Colin. Nice 105 pictures on this and the other page, Kristian. I think it is true that there are no bad Nikon 105s. I'm finding my pre-AI P has great synergy with the Df and as a result is the one always on the camera. It's been only a few months but I always look out for that lens/camera combo that works the best for me and once found, everything can take a back seat.
I downloaded Capture One Express for Nikon last week. Since then I've gone from it's okay(ish) to I love it. My idea of fun is not spending hours in front of the computer tweaking images(hope it doesn't show too much ). This software makes it easy with the profiles for all the cameras I have. Easily beats NX software.
A few from earlier today. A bit of wind was trying to mess things up but I wanted to hold a camera.

So far I´ve owned the PC105/2.5, an ai'd k-version 105/2.5 and now the 105/2.5 ais. And I cant say which one I liked the most. They are all really, really sharp (fully open as well) and so much fun to use.
Jim great shot of the guard rail and truck. Quite the perspective!
Samy your inner harbor with the 135 does appear to curve. Is it me or is that they landscape layout of it?
More from Big Bay and playing with the NOCT. Just Having some fun. The tower pictured is the stack that sits above a FORD production plant where all the wood for it's "woodys" was produced. It's up for sale and the new owner has to deal with the crumbling tower
