Yes she’s happy and lives just outside of Greenwich and doesn’t have a bad commute. I travelled the TZB Daily in 1981 for a couple of years. I transferred out on June 27,1983. The day BEFORE the Mianus Bridge on 95 collapsed. Talk about luck. My commute time each way would have tripled.
Nice posts and the Marina is (or at least was) a great place to hang out.
Oh man, I forgot about that bridge collapse. I was stationed up the coast in New London/Groton. Lived in Mystic. Was there from 1981 to 1986.
Ah so you were a Coastie!! Good for you. I worked with the Coast Guard at Governors Island and used the golf course and the club. My buddy had a Command there. He was a CWO4 with 30 years. Salty!!!

I been the same here George, it's not supposed to rain here in the dry season. The Wet Season has been and gone supposedly. Great for the garden, not so good for astrophotography / my mental health.
Seeing all the nice flower pics inspired me to pick up the XT-2, with the 180ED+full set of tubes and then tried the 28/2 plus PK-13 !

Something broke on the link to the last pic. I was able to click through and see the image on Flickr and I think it’s the best of the set.
Did somebody mention rain?
Please send it our way since I am fed up watering plants every other evening.
We have experienced an unusual spell of nice sunny weather since the beginning of April.

Beautiful series Andy. Are you growing those peppers? Must be the Carolina Reaper or Trinidad Scorpion?? Looks fierce 😱
EDIT: I saw now you wrote Ghost Chilis. To be honest I think they look more like Carolina Reaper. But I also know that Carolina Reaper is a cross breed between Ghost and Scotch Bonnet so I guess some Ghost peppers can turn out to look like Reaper. Anyhow, you'll get a real good burn from any of them. I've tasted them both fresh from the plant. Very tasty but spicy beyond insane. It would be great if you could give us a self portrait after you've tasted one?

Been raining here since last week. Few more days to go.
Union steward clocked in this morning, then came over to me with some news...
Effective Saturday, I will be a career employee instead of a non-career employee, WOO HOO
Means I can now start working towards retirement (ha ha ha) and will also have sick leave if needed. Will be checking into other benefits too, my health care coverage is better where I have it now...

Congratulations Laura 🚨🚀. The USPS health benefits are the BEST in the gov’t. Better than Tri-Care and you can stay enrolled for life. Wish I had them.

I'm not familiar with those terms, but this means you have a permanent contract?
Congratulations. 😁👍🏻
