Saw this headline *today* : Large Crowds In Fells Point Dispersed By Police Saturday As Baltimore Remains Under A Coronavirus Stay At Home Order
There's still an average of a thousand new confirmed cases in the state every day.
This was (early March) one of the last times I went to the area for photography. Walked by numerous crowded, noisy bars with no social distancing during St. Patrick Day's weekend. The cases accelerated the week after, and so from around 35 cases mid-March we are over 38,000 confirmed, with almost 2k deaths so far.

Had to re-close a number of State Parks here yesterday due to overcrowding. Traffic backed up and turned away hundreds of cars. And that was by late morning.

We are going to open the farmers market next week in accordance with the Governor's Phase 1 requirements. That includes face masks, social distancing and other requirements. IMO, it won't last long like this and I'm betting he'll have to close it down again in a couple weeks. I totally understand the need to open things up, but you can't change the science of this virus. It's going to do what it's going to do.
Finally some flower shots for the year. Our afternoon bicycle ride included the park, came back later for some photography. EXIF is incorrect, this was the 85 f1.8H on a tube.
Leighton, I think you’re market will do all right. Looking at CDC Stats Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland have actual Covid cases on the low end of predictions. Here, Florida and Georgia for example have the number of its cases in the middle of predictions And we seem to be doing all right. Not only is each State different but population density seems to be the major factor.
Our Spring road trip has been cancelled or we would have been in Staunton on May 30th. The Country is big and shouldn’t be run by what’s going on in NY. Good luck & keep the faith.

Serge my daughters office is in Greenwich not far from there on Steamboat. It’s a beautiful town that time seems to have forgotten yet has something for everyone. Thanks for the pics.

HI, everyone:
Phong. excellent capture of the Leica chap.
Outside of the Camaro, only took these two in Greenwich. It was very quiet so not much to grab the attention.

Yup! Unfortunately, this virus will rage until it's done. I find it all really frustrating and then Sweden is not even near the lock down mode as most parts of the rest of the world. The county I live in is having a death rate a lot lower than previous years, even though this a relatively densely populated county (in swedish measures, I'll have to add). Adding also a lot of people from my county are travelling a lot to south Europe for skiing where the epicenter was in Italy in february and march. Well, no need to speculate really, what happens happens. Just gotta try to stay safe.
Went to the countryside today.
The pepper plants where put into the ground, new timer and some refurbishing of the watering system. A lot of hard work, my back is kind of sore now 😂
I managed to take a few shots. As promised I will give you all a little story when I have the shots ready and processed.
