Hey Wilbus - Nothing specific - but your capability/usability impressions when you compare and contrast the way you work with the camera (vs the G9, as well). I don't go looking for features, I look for user experience and a way to connect with and exploit what the camera can do well - I want the camera to give me what I want as easily as it can (since I generally only shoot controlled conditions of my own creation - professionally - a lot of stuff on the cameras that so many others want are of no interest to me. But subtle things others sometimes don't see make a world of difference to me.
On paper the FF Lumix are first rate, (great sensor) even if a bit bigger and bulkier than many want. I have just not had any reason to purchase and test because what I already have covers all the bases and needs. Also, the G9 is such a great run-around set-up that it is hard to beat (and though DXO never tested it, those that have, have found that it has a pretty darn good sensor - even if so tiny.)
Really looking forward to your experiences and commentary - Thanks!!
Costa Rica is a fabulous place to do birding. It is full of colorful birds of many species. Below is clay-colored thrush. Out of all the possibilities, this was picked to be the national bird of Costa Rica.
Well, here is quite far away from Tropics and apparently there is little consensus on a national species; but at the end of day, we also have birds to enjoy as elsewhere...

This was my first outing with the EM1-X and the Olympus100-400. It was dark and raining most of the weekend, but I thought the lens performed well for a non "pro" designation. The electronic viewfinder is going to take some getting used to compared to my Nikon, but it was a fun weekend of shooting.
