Took an hour drive this morning to pick up an antique cupboard we bought last weekend. I had my bag in the van so grabbed a few snaps along the way.

I paid just over $400 for this lens second hand. My thoughts were it's small enough that I could throw it in my bag when I'm out for walks with the kids just in case something came up where I needed the reach. Frankly, I was never expecting this type of performance from a bargain lens. Now I'm thinking how much fun it will be to carry this little body and lens with me in the kayak where I can usually get pretty close to my subjects. Still over a month away before I can try it out

Been working with this male Coppers Hawk in the back yard for a while. Using a remote trigger with the OM share phone app on the OM-1 at 120 FPS. Amazing how fast they are and how few images are captured in the right moment.
This was from a couple days ago and my gal did a few quick adjustments and cropped some. Since it is available I figured why not and I should post here to share.

The 100-300 is one of those lenses that make m43 very attractive in my opinion. The right balance of focal length, aperture, and size that fits the primary m43 attraction for me over full frame gear, mainly bulk and weight.
