All my pictures of dragonflies and damselflies are taken in their right environment .. usually along a stream
I have a nice place near where I live where most of my photos on " Beautiful demoiselle" are taken
This is mating season .. the males are very active and chase the females .. just these pictures when they have their wings out, you just have to hold down the shutter and hope that some picture will be sharp
everything goes so fast usually before it closes them and flies away .. you have to try to find a good and nice reed and hope they settle there
Out for a walk with my daughter and youngest grandson recently. She completed 16 chemo sessions and didn't miss a day of work as a Chemistry professor. I'm not one to throw around the "hero" word but it's hard for me to not think of her in those terms.
