I think i would have liked it a little bit better without the foregorund framing, but stunning light.
What have you done to achieve infinity focus?
My canon-leitax-mount for the 58/1.2 should arrive in 4 or 5 days, really looking forward to that!
I have taken my Rokkor apart a couple of times now, adjusted for infinity and filed down the rear retainer ring of the rear element at the top. Bought a conversion kit from Jim here: http://www.jimbuchananspace.com/Camera_Services.html
and shoot in Live View for infinity shots.
Unfortunately this was the only access I had from the road, had to pull over and lean through the trees to get the shot, the wind was pushing the clouds quite quickly so just shot a few and picked the best
From my understanding the mirror will catch around the 5m setting, can i start live view at say 1m, focus to infinity, take a picture, focus to 1m, turn live view off without filing down the rear retainer ring?
Possibly, filing the retainer down was one of the first things I did, but it allows me to get past about 10m before it hangs now, so you might be in luck. Give it a try, the rear element is safe from the mirror as it doesn't protrude out and won't get struck
