Well that's a cute little animal of strange origin :-). Great capture too. The lighting works perfectly - I'm sure the camera's WB algorithm was confused - giving it a nice cross-processing feel.
sebboh - this guy resembles the one that has stolen my sandwich from a bag left for a few minutes on the park bench some times ago.
Philip - very nice photographs
Exploring the world of Minolta MD lenses is turning out to be more and more exciting for me.Out of 20 I've bought lately I managed to try only a few.All with NEX5N.All of them are not very far from my Zeiss lenses by means of IQ.Rich yet delicate colour rendition and sharp.55mm filter thread MD/MC Rokkors are a touch more contrasty than plain MD lenses in general.

Sorry to hear that, maybe Jim will have a look at it.

Sebboh, how would you compare the 50/1.2 to the 58/1.2?
my 50mm was sharper at all apertures than both my copies of the 58mm and a little more contrasty. the 58mm has smoother bokeh wide open (with different shaped and colored oof highlights), while the 50mm has a very distinctive and funky character to it's wide open bokeh. the 58mm also has extremely smooth bokeh stopped down and produces octagons that don't become obvious till f/2.4 while the 50mm produces hexagons from f/2 on. colors seem a little more vibrant from the 50mm but loCA also is more noticeable.
