Good/very good lens overall.Rich Minolta-Leica colours,smooth oof blurr (for a f4 lens),some easy to remove LoCa wo,(especially at the tele end thereabouts in contrasty lighting), plus some sharpness fall off wide open at the same fl.Handy mfd of only 1,2m.Stopped down to f8 it shows most of that shortcomings gone.

Sadly,our beautiful, colorful,interestingly old and varied world is about to die.
The best,though not ideal,the mankind managed to create after centuries of senseless wars,slaughtery and destruction.Far from being perfect,but good enough for the vast majority to accept.
Flexible in facing ever changing global situation once upon the time,now getting blind,gradually losing it's will to survie,sense of purpose,courage and determination to carry on.
The walls are tall and strong but no longer one can see on them warriors with brave hearts ready to defend.And sensible leaders.
