love to see them. i originally intended the thread to be for adapted lenses on mirrorless cameras, but it didn't seem to attract much interest, so i'm cool with it becoming a general mirrorless camera image thread.
I really need to pick up a few Alt lenses for my GF-1. I'm considering some FD and Oly glass.
Just bought a Sony NEX 5. Next week, as I get my hands on adapters, I should be able to try on a Contax C/Y 25mm and a Zeiss Biogon 28 mm. Until then I am having trouble sorting out basic issues, like "auto ISO". I got some shots with f:6.3, 1/40s, ISO 1600, both in "P" mode and in "A" mode, which feels strange and doesn't help IQ. Is it just that auto ISO is daft on that cam, or am I missing something stupid?
Also, tried out two copies of the 16mm f:2.8 pancake, and both gave really lousy IQ (not sharp at all), so I bought the kit lens, which looks better. Again, am I missing something?
I really dig this little lens! It's very sharp, has a nice bokeh, and looks mighty cool! The aperture scale on it is a dynamic red ring that almost looks like liquid in a tube that flows out to range indices. I think it's definitely one I'll keep in my own collection.

has anyone tried the pentax pancake lenses on the nex or GF-1? i'm thinking something like the pentax 31/1.8
FYI, the FA31 is definitely not a pancake lens. The DA21, DA40, and DA70 would all qualify to some extent, and the FA43 is close. The FA77 and FA31 are larger (though definitely not huge).
The DA21 is a very good lens, though probably my least favorite of the Limiteds.
Brilliant set, bifurcator! Instant advertising for alt glass on mirrorless cameras!
Lobvely pic, cavewalker!
Regarding the 16mm Sony NEX lens, I tried two and the shots were so bad, even at f:5.6, that I traded it in for the kit zoom. Pics to follow.
Philippe, nice set! Haven't bought much MF glass for mine as I am still messing with the M 4/3rds stuff. Lugging the Nex around is 20x better than the 5D and all the zeiss glass
Tomorrow my dealer should get an adapter for M lenses, and he has a 28mm Zeiss biogon which I will try out. It would be a bit of a waste, since I already own a Contax C/Y 25mm, but the lens looks like an absolute jewel, and boys so love toys....
Almost pulled the trigger for a CY 28/2.8 for the NEX but have held off. I know it's a PITA but I wonder what the CY 35-70 would look like on the NEX... Purchased Rokkor 35-70 with macro capabilities to see what the FL will look like. Have used my Samyang 14 2.8 on it and it looks pretty good with it at a FL of 21. Weather has been complete crap here though so not really able to get any pics lately. Hopefully next week in Ireland
Jason, when DSLRkit do send me the adapter ring for C/Y which I ordered, I will be able to try the 35-70 on my NEX. Though the focal range will be equivalent to 75-105, not my favorite. As and when, I will post.
