Phil, I think the is a very good lens but also different from other Leica M lenses and 28 mm is also a favorite focal length of mine for these kind of small landscape photos (I also have Zeiss ZE 28/2 Distagon in EF mount).
A continuation of the fallen tree series. Second one is with 50 Lux the rest with the 28 Cron.

Happy New Year all and great shots as always.
Sorry for not commenting individually but have been using "likes" when browsing.
Continuing from everyone's winter theme, although its only 1deg F with expected 1 to 1.5 ft of snow fall here in Boston tonight, nothing in comparison to Gary and others up North

Trying to stay warm indoors. Notice ornaments on bottom part of our tree are missing. Guess who?

and I wait, wait and wait: The old lady almost feel hesitate to further walk through as I am the only one stand on the small alley, This is 21mm lens, we are pretty close. she stand at cross street for quite a while then decide continue her walk. she must feel unsafe somehow

Joe - Looks like you have a lot of snow out there! We just got another pile last night so it's time for some more shovelling…. PS - loving the look of that S2. What is the max exposure time with with the S2?

Arka - These were taken in Lake Louise, Alberta. The building is the Deer Lodge just a few steps away from the Chateau Lake Louise.

Happy new year to everyone and of course may be the light with you in 2014!
Great pictures as always.
The last couple month a lot of different thinks have distracted me from my photography and the forum, but it's getting quieter by now. I also had a warranty case on my 50 Lux Asph., which I took as a chance to send all my stuff for fine adjustments to Solms. Even living in Germany it took hole two month to get every thing back. I also completed the family with the APO-Telyt 135/3.4. This weekend I will get the chance to test it a bit.
